How it Works

Project Life Cyle Descriptions

Hotel enters the participation process and provides utility and site information for project eligibility review. Following approval, a microgrid lease is executed and the project advances to engineering and design.

Hotel Participation

Engineering, Design & Compliance

Site-specific engineering, utility analysis, system design, project mapping, and independent third-party reviews—including appraisal, tax opinion, incentive qualification, and insurance review—are completed to support project deployment, tax credit qualification, and monetization.

Construction

The EPC team coordinates procurement, installation, and construction execution

Construction and commissioning are completed, project documentation is finalized, and the microgrid is placed in service, establishing eligibility for applicable tax credit benefits.

Placed in Service

Upon Placed-in-Service, eligible project costs and qualifying infrastructure establish the federal tax credit position. Supporting documentation and reporting materials are finalized to support transfer and monetization.

Tax Credit Generation

Tax credits are transferred or monetized through qualified buyers and structured tax credit transactions.

Tax Credit Monetization

Capital providers are repaid in accordance with transaction terms following tax credit monetization and related project capital events.
